This is the story of two midwesterners who met in college, moved to central Texas, got married, and then headed for the edge of the Chihuahuan desert. The two became three when baby girl number 1 was born May 4, 2009. Born July 1, 2012, baby girl number 2 made a family of four!

Food, Love, and Swaddle
The first two are a given, but we didn't realize how very important the swaddling was until we could not swaddle Geneva when she had the fever. Without being swaddled, she would wake up every hour.
we swaddled till his hospital stay last weekend...it was the only way he would sleep thru the night. and a friend from highschool swaddled her little boy till he was almost 6 months old! hope geneva is feeling better now!
I use picasa to store my pictures. To upload and write my blogs I have been using Microsoft live writer. Nikki posted about it and it is so much better than typing and uploadjg pics thru blogger itself. And it is super easy.
Swaddling is the best! We swaddled Addie until she was about 4 months and she loved it. I LOVE the kiddopotamus swaddle blanket. That and the baby bouncy seat were things we couldn't live without for the first several months!

It was a definite must for us too! I think we swaddled Madeline until she was 4 months old :)
