Audience Participation, Please!!!

Ok, here is the scoop:

It has obviously been awhile since I've checked in on either of my blogs.  The deal is, things have been a little nutty for me lately.  My list of excuses is short but with big factors:

1.  My brother and his future fiance have been staying with us since about January 1st as they searched for and are now waiting to move into their new home (that is an easy 1/2 mile walk from us!!!).  It has been great spending all this time with them, but it doesn't leave me with a whole lot of focused screen time.

2.  For some reason I have lost the ability to blog from my phone.  I used to rely heavily on this short-cut to snap pictures and quickly upload them to the blog at random times throughout the day.

3.  And sorry if this is too much information, but for recently realized and treated reasons, my hormones have been going absolutely bonkers, leaving me in a finicky, generally agitated state for weeks now.

So... You may be wondering what I have been doing with my time?  Really, much of the same things: loving every (or most!) second with my spunky, brilliant (as her mother, I'm allowed to say it), talkative, curious, independent 20 month old; working part-time; exercising (though not as much as before of number 3 of the above reasons); squeezing in a few moments of down time with my lovely and wonderful husband; and spending time with my brother and his fiance.

In addition to these things, I have bought myself a new fancy shmancy super blender.  Like a child with a new toy, I am obsessed!  This new blender has made me 4 meals in the past two days and I am totally into coming up with interesting, healthy recipes for it.  When I did my initial searches for innovative, healthy (even vegan or raw) blender recipes, what I found was generally limited to smoothie recipes or blender recipes were merely sprinked in amongst many other types of recipes or topics.  I did find one fantastic blog devoted to the blender, food processor, and stand mixer that has terrific recipes, including many that are dairy, egg, and gluten free (great for people with allergies or on restrictive diets).  Since using the blender 4 times, I have come up with 4 recipes.  So, I am going to start a blog as a place to compile my original (and borrowed with credit given) blender recipes.  It will be just as much for me as everyone else but hopefully others who have become completely and totally obsessed with their mighty blender will also find it useful.  Oh yea, this wonder blender happens to be a sassy red that will permanently grace my countertop.  Did I mention that I was obsessed?

The catch??  I can't decide on a name!

That is where *YOU* come in: Please go to the top of this blog and vote for your favorite name.

Thank you in advance!

And, for those of you hungry for more baby-- I'll post pictures soon :)

Happy Weekend!
