Just a few words about our vibrant toddler.
Her top three names for baby sister are: Cookus, Potato, and Coffee Head. Greg and I agree that Coffee Head has a cozy sort of feel to it. ;)
Her favorite joke is one that she heard recently in a book: "Knock Knock. Who's There? Pinky Stinky Underwear." She thinks it is wonderful to repeat this, laugh at herself, and repeat it again over and over.
Speaking of potty talk, what is it with 2/3 year olds randomly substituting or peppering in bathroom words? I do hope our child is not the only one who does this.
Tonight, a tiny doll of hers is sleeping in a fake rose in her bedroom under the guise of Thumbelina.
Today while we were walking, she told us that she wanted to say "hello" to the people in front of us.
The other day, her prayer was "Joseph, please help everyone to relax." (Every since Christmas, she often directs her prayers toward Joseph- who we described as one of Jesus' fathers. I think she is a little confused.)
When we are not directly focused on her, she will often say something like, "Hey mom, talk to me." She will also try to start conversations with us by asking things like, "So, what'd you do today."
We love, love, love this sweet little girl.
Pictures soon, but google picture uploader and I are in a bit of a spat.
