On the way there we stopped three times. We made one stop just because we were hot and tired of being in the car. For this, I pulled over on main street in a small town and we went into a little store with random items. We ended up standing in front of the air conditioning vent and talking to the shop owner for 30 minutes. The woman was very nice and was originally from Odessa (20 minutes from midland). She gave me water and I bought a few things. We had such a nice chat that she asked me to stop back by sometime so she can see how Geneva's grown. On the way back we stopped at a Dairy Queen where I changed G's diaper on a table (she was on top of a mat) and fed her. I was too afraid to even venture into the women's restroom and figured I'd go ahead with the diaper change until someone stopped me. So yes, I do believe I'm becoming one of those moms. I guess it happens to the best of us.
We had a great time at the ranch- visiting and catching up with family and playing with my second cousins. Alison's youngest is about 8 weeks older than Geneva.
