Geneva and I took our very own “Girls’ Trip” last weekend. We went to central Texas to see my cousin Hannah and to do a few very fun things. I thought it would be fun for her and a good opportunity for me to make some fun memories with her. She is at a neat age where everything is new, interesting, and fun for her. She really thrives on being around people and stimulation.
We started off by staying the night with my brother and his fiancé and their new puppy.
We both loved the children’s museum. G loved the big train table and watching the train that would drive by on tracks overhead.
Here she was dancing to some Latin music.
She loved interacting with the giant game pieces.
Here we are after a *very* hot and sweaty run at the lake. The good thing (I guess), was that by the time we made it to the farmer’s market, I was too exhausted and hot to even think about food.
Would you look at this big girl sitting at the table to eat and drink!
Cousin Hannah got better snuggles than she gives her own mom and dad.
The drive was a little long for just the two of us, but I think it was well worth it. It is definitely the first of many fun “girls’ trips.” :)
