2nd Birthday Party

We had Geneva’s second birthday party today.  We were planning to have it at a nearby park, but 35 mph winds blowing leaves and dust kept us indoors.  Our house felt very vibrant and joyful with seven additional toddlers and their parents.  It was a wonderful little party and we were thankful for the friends and family that came to celebrate with us!

See if you can guess the theme by the pictures.

I spent most of Friday sewing these felt crayon/notepad holders as party favors.

A very exciting game of “pin the tail on brown bear” was the brilliant idea and artistic creation of the best daddy in the world.

Geneva only gave up the cake when presents were promised.  “I’m ready!” she shouted over and over in anticipation while I was cleaning her hands and face.

Opening presents was fun and chaotic like doing it with a group of 2 year olds should be.

I think the whole group had fun with it and Geneva willingly let her friends help open.
