Here are some highlights from our Saturday: local pumpkins and all-you-can-pick eggplants and peppers, pumpkins, tractor rides, birthday cake, a bounce house, and toy story tent.
I am absolutely in awe of “our” farmer, who has revitalized an old, tired, nutrient-stripped cotton field of yesteryear and slowly but surely turned it into a nutrient-rich haven for abundant growth- all without chemical pesticides. And even in the extreme heat and dryness of our desert environment. And bonus- he has become a good friend of ours over the years.
I did not purposely dress her so that she would look like Alex’s brother, but she spilled water all over her girlie clothes and had to borrow some of his. 
And, of course, we made time for Dress-Up :)
