In the meantime, I will post some (mostly fuzzy) pictures I have taken with my phone.
At Cecily's 2 month doctor's appointment the other day (actually at 10 weeks), she weighed exactly 14lbs. She measured 24.5 inches. She is shooting off the growth chart for both weight and length! In fact, the nurse practitioner was slightly concerned with the fact that she has added over three inches of height in just 2.5 months. She said it should be fine as long as she is following after someone in our family. Greg is over 6ft and (from what I hear) was a long baby. My brother is also over 6ft. One thing is for sure, she will be taller than both Geneva and I.
Cecily's demeanor seems calm, easily pleased, and cuddly. If it weren't for the mild reflux symptoms, she would be the easiest baby ever. Because of the reflux, she sometimes throws up, spits up regularly, and occasionally has difficulty sleeping due to pain. She still sleeps upright in her swing.
So... Here are the pictures:
This past weekend, the temperatures never exceeded 75 degrees. This meant walking weather for us and two very cozy little girls. At one point, both were sleeping.
This was from a few weeks ago at an Art's Festival. Geneva was more into the farm animals than the artwork. :)
In case you were wondering, her face was painted like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.
It is Texas, after all, so of course it got warm enough again for Geneva to eat a popsicle outside. Shirtless.
This kind of thing sometimes happens when Geneva fights taking a nap. She is really in an in-between phase with naps right now.
I thought it was cute the other night when I found some princess slippers on my bathroom rug. Little reminders of Geneva everywhere.
