Back to Our Regular Programming

Thank you to everyone who has been keeping up with our little family and goings on.  We were having computer problems due to having too many photos on the hard drive.  We ended up making three attempts at buying an external hard drive from online companies.  Finally, the hard drive has arrived and I have been able to transfer pictures from the camera and now onto this site!  Hoorah!

Cecily, now almost 4 months, seems to be growing so quickly!  She has rolled a few times from her tummy to her back and just yesterday rolled from her back to her belly.  She tries very hard to sit up and very much enjoys shaking, grabbing, and putting toys and blankets into her mouth.  She is quite chatty and thinks Stella the dog is hilarious when she barks.  The first time she giggled was while watching Stella bark and growl at one of her toys.  Her reflux is SOOO much better and feeding her is so much easier!  She is now sleeping 8-9 hours per night but does wake up when her arms become free from her swaddle jammies.

Geneva is doing great also!  She is loving spending time at her school and comes home with all kinds of new songs and activities.  She is doing a lot of art projects and working on learning letters, numbers, tracing, and coloring.  She has been really sweet with Cecily lately and often wants to kiss her, hold her, and have her picture taken with her.  She sometimes "performs" for Cecily too.

I have TONS of pictures, so here it goes!

Cecily 2 months, Geneva 40 months (3 years, 4 months):

It was "cowboy" day at school.  I wore this leather vest when I was a little girl.

These were my footy jammies when I was a baby.  Cecily sits up really well when up against a pillow.

Cecily 3 months, Geneva 3years, 5 months:

My dad came to visit us a few weeks ago :)

Looong fingers and toes!

Geneva took her first school-sponsered field trip to a pumpkin patch.  She was SOO excited about getting to ride a bus there.  Such a big girl!!

Stella is hanging tough at 8+ years old.  Still sleeps with us, scratches us up when we play fetch with her, and often barks at nothing outside of our window.

Painting pumpkins with friends.

In honor of Greg, "Hook 'Em!!" (My very talented friend Allison MADE Cecily's dress.  You cannot see it, but her name is embroidered on it.)

Swimming in October?  Yes, because our friends have an INDOOR pool- What?! I know- way too cool.

Geneva got tired of painting pumpkins and wanted to try some on herself.  I watched the whole thing and didn't say a word.  Greg, however, did not feel so gracious about my permissive attitude.

Sometimes, Geneva likes to be swaddled also.  She slept like this two nights in a row.

Fun with Fall pictures.  Dressing up daughters is so much fun!

Princesses get tired too, you know?

We love our baby girls!!!
