Happy Easter

Easter, Springtime, friends, family, babies- Lovely!  Minus a bit of fussiness (both children, of course- fussiness spans the ages) and a little prep/home maintenance work, that was basically our weekend.  Geneva was out of school Friday and today (Monday) and Greg was off work Friday.  We stayed close to home this Easter weekend and made an effort not to over-schedule ourselves.  The girls had a 1st birthday party (chick and Easter egg hunt themed) Saturday morning and then we went to Easter Vigil mass Saturday evening.  Sunday, Geneva had an egg hunt at church and then we had my brother's family and a few friends over for brunch at our house.

Geneva helped Cecily find her basket, up high on the bookshelf (and yes, they do happen to both be wearing Christmas oriented pajamas.. ?? oh well, we are just melding religious holidays)

Geneva "on the hunt."  I stayed home with Cecily while she napped, but apparently there was a bloody incident at some point during the hunt.  She came home proudly showing off her bandage.  Thankfully, it was a church event and the other children shared some of their eggs with her.

The delight of taking home a basket-ful of eggs must have dulled the pain.
