1/2 Birthday

This time 6 months ago, I was holding Geneva just after she was born (at 7:11pm on May 4th). Incredibly, a half of year has passed and I am still in awe of her and so grateful to be blessed with such a healthy baby girl.

She had her 6 month well-check today. Since the last appointment 2 months ago, she has gained 1.5 pounds and grew one inch. She now weighs 15lbs, 12oz and is 25.5 inches.

It isn't birthday cake, but to mark the occasion, Geneva got to try butternut squash- yum, her first vegetable. She loved it and did a great job of gobbling up about an ounce.
