Obviously not as monumental as the alleged one with the Pilgrims and Native Americans, but still important in our little world. For Thanksgiving this year, we kept it close to home and went to the ranch for a few days. Poor Geneva used the three nights to teeth like mad and still has yet to find relief. When will we ever see a tooth?!
I was assigned to sweet potatoes, which ended up undercooked and we missed the prayer and first 15 minutes of the meal because Geneva was finishing her nap (and all you parents out there know how important those naps are). However, it was still a nice holiday and a wonderful time to be thankful for our healthy family and our many blessings.
I told Greg that all I really wanted was a family picture. So, here it is :)
Oh, and obviously Geneva was dressed for Fall, but also for the Longhorns who beat the Aggies after she went to bed. She always wants to show support for her daddy’s favorite team.
