And no, not through a rehabilitation or sacrament program. :)

Apparently, there is an anonymous philanthropist(s?) who is(are) interested in supporting the local food movement here in west Texas.  Since I am quickly becoming known as some sort of local food groupie, I have been nominated to go to an upcoming (and the first for the area) local foods conference for free.  One of the area farmers contacted me to ask if I wanted to go.   I was already planning on going, but I will take the recommendation that I go for free :)
