I got up extra early today so I could enjoy a few cups of coffee, eat breakfast, and mentally prepare for taking my favorite toddler to the Farmers’ Market today (all before I wake Sleeping Beauty, of course) :)
Geneva is going to be my little helper today as we guide up to 30 children in the fine art of vegetable sculpture making. The activity will be super easy (“Here are you 10 pieces of (fresh and washed and locally grown) vegetables, (colored) toothpicks, and (dixie) cup of cucumber ranch dressing (to go)—have fun and be creative! yay!”).
The more difficult part may be keeping up with The Baby on The Move!! Buuuut….. she is super-social and usually amazes me with how calm and cool she can be in public.
So really, it will be fun and a good experience for both of us.
