Pregnancy Update

When I was early in my pregnancy, I took Stella to get her yearly shots and the veterinarian wished me "Happy Gestating"as I was leaving.  This well-wish coupled with the scientific term was funny to me and I still chuckle when I think of it.

Anyway, it was been a relatively "happy gestating" period, although I could do without the often-occuring insomnia at 4:30 in the morning!  (However, it was due to one of those early wake-up times today that I was able to get the Easter pictures uploaded and edited so quickly.)

The baby seems good and strong.  She kicks and moves often, especially at night and early in the morning.  At my 28th week appointment, I was cleared of diabetes.  I knew I didn't have an issue with this and find it a little ridiculous that I even had to be tested.  Apparently, my results were visible to the tech way earlier than normal.  Yea- again, I think I had that figured out.

This was after a dinner that Greg and I went to a few weeks ago.  Geneva got up when she heard us come in and we tried out the timer on the camera for a family picture.  It is also my last picture with long hair.

And if you are wondering- yes, I do really like this sweater and it seems to add a little dress-up flavor to my piece-mealed wardrobe.

We have our last ultrasound next Friday and I will be sure to post pictures.
