--- Actual question from Greg today after I purchased our very own Kombucha Tea starter kit so we I can make our my own fermented, probiotic tea for good health. This, after I had been volunteering all morning at the Farmer’s Market selling coffee. Hooray for farmer’s markets and locally grown/made food and products. :)
For the record, Kombucha tea sells for $2-4 per individual bottle at the store and there are numerous studies citing health benefits. I had never seen how it is made though, and the idea of the symbiotic “pancake” of bacteria and yeast floating inside of it kind of makes me want to throw up. Let’s drink to good health. Yuuum.

Nice Work! A lot of my coworkers brew their own "tea"! Enjoy! It is great stuff and even better when it is cheap!
