Today Greg and I are taking turns staying with Geneva since her babysitter has a fever. Greg is taking the morning shift and I am coming home this afternoon. It is a rainy yucky day, so there won’t be any walking, but I do have a short list of chores for myself.

UPDATE:
We think the babysitter just had a mild case of the flu after receiving a flu shot. She seems to be all better, but lucky for us to have get to take turns spending time with Geneva. She and Greg had a fun morning and I’m pretty sure they went on a field trip to get a burrito. She and I had a great afternoon. She played in her room while I worked on pulling out her outgrown/out of season clothes and putting away bigger sizes/ winter stuff. I also spent about 30 minutes reading to her without her putting the books into her mouth (this is a major feat!) Later in the day, we visited family, including my cousin and her three boys (ages 3, 2, and 7 months) who were visiting from Missouri.
It was great to have the extra time with G-girl and it is really solidifying my wish to just work part-time next year.
