A Weekend in Austin

Sandwiched in between Geneva and Greg's birthdays, we took a trip to Austin to visit Greg's sister, Bethany (known throughout the land as "aunt B") and my cousin, Hannah.  We really are not a last-minute, fly-by-the-seat-of-out-pants kind of family, but somehow this impromptu trip worked out really well and we had a blast visiting with our sweet family.

For Geneva, it doesn't get any better than a humongous chocolate chip "pan-a-cake."

We stayed close to a park that has a train ride and a fun park in it.

Geneva is totally crazy about her Aunt B.

Mother's Day was that weekend and Geneva had made me a really sweet little book at school.

On the way home, we stopped and snapped a few pictures of the girls in the wildflowers.  Central Texas is so pretty in the spring.  They were particularly good sports about it, especially since I first put them down in a fire ant patch.  Just a few tears and a lot of screaming and they were all smiles again.
