One of Geneva’s aunts came to see us with her boyfriend, Matt. They came all the way from Wisconsin to enjoy our warmer temps (though still regarded as a “cold snap” by natives). We’ve been had lots of fun, with the high point being a trip to the Davis Mountains/Big Bend region of “Far West” Texas. Here are pics from their visit. Our morning hike in the State Park was energizing and gorgeous under the bluest sky and most desolate path.
Why so sad? Here Geneva opens her Christmas present—A Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. She’ll have fun with that next year.
Matt helps to block Geneva from her favorite thing in the kitchen—the tall, unsteady wine rack- scary!
Daddy and Geneva get some play time in.
The long road to “west, West Texas”
A natural spring running through a hotel that we will probably never stay at due to the $475+ per night fee. Beautiful though.
Playing with my camera, I snapped this forlorn shot.
On the Trail!
In front of our hotel before we left town- very cute and quaint.
Geneva loving her aunt MC.
G loves playing the piano!
Group shot before they had to leave. Look at that big girl standing!
What a great visit!
