My cell phone contract is up in March and since Greg and everyone else I know is on either Verizon or Alltel, I think it is silly to stay with AT&T. Here is my problem though, I use very few minutes (less than 200 per month) and 100-200 texts monthly, so even the “minimum” plans with these companies are more than I need (and obviously more money than I want to spend). Nights and weekends aren’t really that important either since I try not to talk on the phone that late and never have free time on the weekends anyway.
Does anyone use any of those ‘alternative’ services/carriers/plans?
What about good deals on data/smartphone plans? (I’d love to get a phone that we can Skype grandparents with.)
Any and all experiences with these are graciously requested.
