This Weekend

Was good, crazy, busy, and happy.  In three days we entertained/dined three groups of people.  We also used the pool all three days, tried like heck to present a fun craft at the market while the wind was blowing like a tornado and mothers were getting smeared with paint and glue, had an easy time at church (relatively speaking), and ended with breakfast for dinner (including coffee-yum).
Friday was my brother and his fiance, Saturday-two families that we met through church; each with their 10 month old baby, Sunday: our friends from Indiana who live down the street (with their three children).
Seems nuts to say we did it, but the key was making food in bigger batches and eating the same things each day.  Maybe boring for us, but unknown to our guests.
Unfortunately the only pictures I took were from the market.  Here the idea was for kiddos to look through books featuring bugs and insects and use crafty materials to develop their own.  Like I mentioned, it was too windy for this project and I actually packed it up after just 2 hours (instead of the typical 4).  Needing 6 hands per project just isn’t feasible or that fun for families.
